Dues

Update to Daily Safety Protocols
Temperature Checks:
Teams only need to take players temperatures upon arrival at activity and verify temperature lower than 100.3 Degrees prior to participation if required by their county or facility. If not, temperature checks may be done at home by parents prior to the event. Record keeping of this activity should be maintained for two weeks.

Scheduling
The scheduling meeting is set for April 11, 2021 beginning at 10AM. The meeting will be hosted by Keith Kroeger with assistance from Dave Sanford. Information for the meeting can be found below:

Officials Training
Roughly 75 young men are in the process of completing the steps to becoming a OYL official certified for the 2021 season. The certification process includes a live practicum and three pre-recorded zoom classes that are each 90 minutes long. Additionally, any sophomores must work a scrimmage under the supervision of an adult official to complete their certification. If there are officials in your program that are in need of this year’s certification please have them reach out to Bob Weyer ASAP. We want to work with you and help certify everyone we can. You are required to use officials certified THIS YEAR in all contests.

We have two live sessions happening this weekend. One is Saturday 4/10 at 8am on HMT Field 1 in the Beaverton District, the other will be on the eastside on Sunday 4/11 (Time TBD). If you want to attend one of these sessions please email Bob Weyer with the following information:

FAQ
Are masks required? Yes at all times by all participants.
Are splash guards an acceptable substitute for masks? No.
Are mouthguards still required? Yes.
Are face-offs happening? Yes but with modifications taught in the 2021 Officials Certification.
Are officials in charge of enforcing COVID Protocol? No.
Is the Home Team required to provide a COVID Monitor for each home game? Yes.
Are dues required in 2021? Yes.
Do all clubs and players need to sign a waiver to participate in 2021? Yes.
Are clubs responsible for following Jenna’s Law and distributing Concussion information to parents and players? Yes.
